Lee Andrews, the husband of Katie Price, has volunteered to undergo a lie detector test on live television following accusations that he defrauded a vulnerable woman of £5,000. The 43-year-old, who styles himself as 'Britain's Bad Boy', announced the offer in an Instagram selfie alongside his wife, 48-year-old Katie Price.
Alleged visa scam details
According to a friend named Daniel, the alleged victim, an Iranian woman, met Lee in a hotel reception in January 2026. She was concerned about her property investment visa. Lee, who had recently returned to social media after a month in prison, reportedly assured her he had connections in immigration and accepted £5,000 in cash to secure the visa. The money then disappeared, and Lee allegedly made a series of broken promises when the woman tried to follow up.
Daniel told The Sun: 'She trusted him and she thought he could sort everything for her. She was pretty fraught when this was all happening; she is vulnerable, being honest.' He confronted Lee at the same hotel, demanding he look him in the eyes and confirm the visa would come through. Lee replied that he was only trying to help and had nothing to gain. When Daniel extended his stay to recover the money, Lee claimed he didn't have it, saying someone else held it and that it would be transferred via bank transfer. Daniel countered that the payment was in cash, to which Lee responded, 'Oh the money is not with me.' The woman has not yet been reimbursed.
History of allegations against Lee Andrews
This is not the first controversy surrounding Lee since his marriage to Katie Price. He has faced a series of accusations:
- Misleading business claims: Lee presented himself as CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an investor in 'SpaceX Hybrid Fitness', with a social media profile featuring photos with Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian. These were later exposed as AI-generated fakes, and his company's website had no substantive information.
- Dubai travel ban: After marrying Katie in Dubai, Lee was unable to return to the UK due to an alleged ban linked to serving time in Al Awir central prison for suspected fraud, reportedly involving a £200,000 mortgage taken out in his ex-girlfriend's name without her knowledge. Lee denied the ban, but Katie later confirmed it.
- Fake pregnancy tease: Early in their relationship, Lee and Katie hinted at a pregnancy, with Katie urging fans to pay £2.99 for pregnancy test results. She later confirmed she was not pregnant.
- Scamming other women: After their wedding, two ex-girlfriends accused Lee of being a 'liar, narcissist and manipulator'. One ex, Alana, called him the 'Tinder Swindler' and claimed multiple women had contacted her about similar scams.
- Ghosting his wife: When Lee failed to return to the UK, Katie reported him missing, fearing kidnapping. Reports later emerged that he was 'squatting in a slightly run-down villa' in Dubai using a burner phone, allegedly 'frantically planning a route out of this ginormous hole'.
Recent outrageous claims
In the same week as the lie detector offer, Lee claimed he had adopted Katie's five children, including Princess, 18, and Junior, 21, from her marriage to Peter Andre. A source told Metro: 'It is categorically untrue and yet another lie. They haven't even met him.' Lee has never visited the UK to meet Katie's family. He also claimed he would join the BBC soap EastEnders, saying he had a 'little cameo' airing soon. A BBC source quickly dismissed this, telling Metro: 'There are no plans for Lee Andrews to appear.'
