Kilburn Stabbing Victim, 20, Named by Police

A 20-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Kilburn on Tuesday, May 26, has been identified by the Metropolitan Police as Malakai Ferguson-Ramson. He died at the scene in Ashmore Road after suffering a knife wound to the chest.

Police were called to the location at approximately 8:50 PM following reports of an altercation. Officers have since arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. The suspect has been released on bail while the investigation continues.

A significant portion of Ashmore Road was cordoned off on Tuesday as forensic teams conducted a thorough examination of the scene. Floral tributes were placed near the police cordon as local residents gathered to pay their respects.

Investigation Update

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the inquiry, stated: "We are working at pace to identify those involved in Malakai's murder and have already made one arrest in connection with the investigation. Our investigation continues, and I would ask that anyone with information about what happened or video footage of the incident gets in touch with my officers."

He added: "My thoughts remain with Malakai's family and all those affected by his tragic death."
