Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews, who recently went missing, has actually been arrested and is being held in a prison in Dubai, according to reports. A few days ago, a missing person's report was officially filed for Andrews, as the businessman's whereabouts had been unknown for a significant period. It has now been claimed that he was arrested by authorities in the United Arab Emirates, although the charge has not been confirmed.
Father Confirms Arrest
Andrews' father, Peter, said his son is 'OK' and alleged that he was not abducted. 'He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don't know on what charge,' he told the Daily Mail. 'I'm not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today. He is not at my house.' A police source also reportedly told the publication: 'Lee Andrews has been arrested.'
Background of Allegations
Since marrying Katie Price, Lee Andrews has faced multiple allegations. He was initially presented as a multi-millionaire business owner and CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027, with a social media profile boasting 111k followers and photos with celebrities like Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian. However, these were later exposed as AI-generated fakes. He was also banned from leaving Dubai after allegedly serving time in Al-Awir central prison for suspected fraud, including taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend's name.
Other Controversies
Andrews and Price teased a fake pregnancy early in their relationship, with Price urging followers to pay £2.99 for pregnancy test results before confirming she was not pregnant. Two of his exes accused him of being a 'liar, narcissist and manipulator', and he was reported to have begged women for money weeks before marrying Price. His ex Alana called him the 'Tinder Swindler' on Instagram, claiming multiple women had contacted her about his scams.
Disappearance and Arrest
After failing to return to the UK, Price reported him missing, fearing he had been kidnapped. However, reports suggested he had 'ghosted' his wife and was 'squatting in a run-down villa' in Dubai using a burner phone. The British Foreign Office in Dubai was unable to track him down, and local authorities denied knowledge of his whereabouts. Price revealed the final texts from Andrews before his disappearance, saying he was trying to go through the Dubai border to catch a flight to her.
