Trump's Truth Social Rampage: AI Iran Attacks, UFC at White House
Trump Posts AI Iran Attack Images, UFC Fight Plans

In just 90 minutes yesterday, Donald Trump fired off 16 posts on Truth Social, featuring AI images of ships sinking in Iran and mock-ups of renovations in Washington. The US President went on one of his infamous posting sprees to share images of sinking ships in Iran, explosions and a UFC fight on the White House front lawn.

AI-Generated Imagery and Confused Metaphors

In one image, captioned ‘Bye Bye, Drones’, an AI image showed an American warship blasting Iranian drones out of the sky with lasers. Another showed Iranian drones dropping like butterflies into the ocean, with images of actual blue butterflies next to it. It appears the President got the phrase ‘dropping like flies’ mixed up with butterflies.

UFC at the White House and Digs at Predecessors

Other posts showed AI mockups of a UFC fighting stage on the White House lawn, which Trump plans to host for America’s 250th this year. Trump also took a dig at his predecessors, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, sharing images of Iranian ships sailing freely under ‘Obama and Biden’, then photos of the ships at the bottom of the sea ‘Under Trump’.

Lincoln Memorial Renovation and Pool Leaks

The last of his late-night posting spree showed an image of the Lincoln Memorial, which Trump has vowed to resurface with ‘American flag blue’ paint. Last week, Trump shared an AI photo of himself and his cabinet lounging in the waters. Floating in a golden inflatable chair, the President is giving a thumbs up to the camera as Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio smile. Also in the mocked-up photo is Interior Secretary Doug Burgham and an unidentified woman wearing a gingham bikini. The government is spending over a million dollars to fix leaks in the pool’s granite foundation and coat it with a bright blue cover ahead of the 250th anniversary of the US.

America’s 250th Anniversary Plans

Ahead of America’s 250th anniversary this summer, Trump is planning an ‘Arc de Trump’, a fighting match on the White House lawn and more. The United States of America is marking 250 years since it declared independence from Britain on July 4, 1776. This year’s celebrations will be very different from the bicentennial in 1976, which saw freedom trains, cultural programmes and a massive fireworks display outside the White House. In a very Trumpian turn of events, DC will see an Ultimate Fighting Championship event on the White House lawn.
