Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, was rushed to hospital on Saturday night after suffering what is believed to be a haemorrhage or laceration that caused uncontrollable bleeding. Emergency services were called to her home at around 8pm on July 13, 2026, following reports of an unconscious person. Chesterfield Fire/EMS confirmed the incident, and Scott, 51, was wheeled out on a gurney and transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital. Her current condition remains unknown, according to TMZ.
Health crisis follows DUI arrest
This health emergency comes months after Scott was arrested in May 2026 for allegedly driving under the influence. Police reported that she hit a parked car, though no injuries were reported at the time. Officers noted she was stumbling, smelled of alcohol, and admitted to drinking hours before the arrest. She was held briefly in Macomb County Jail but failed to appear for a court hearing last month; warrants have since been dismissed.
Scott has rarely been seen in recent years, last speaking publicly in 2023 when she confirmed she would attend her daughter Hailie's wedding. She also stated she sees her ex-husband 'often enough'. Her appearance has changed dramatically, with a bright blonde pixie cut.
Rocky relationship with Eminem
Scott and Eminem (Marshall Mathers) have a tumultuous history. They met in school and were on and off for years, marrying in 1999 and divorcing in 2001, then remarrying in 2006 for only a few months. In a 2007 interview with ABC's 20/20, Scott said: 'Money is great, but it doesn't make your husband stay at home with you. Or sleep in the same bed with you … Him being on the road and on tour … that was like the big one. I mean … constant infidelities, all the time.'
Eminem also referenced infidelity in his lyrics, but the former couple are reportedly on good terms now. Together, they have three children: biological daughter Hailie, Stevie (whom Eminem adopted, and who is non-binary), and Alaina (daughter of Scott's late twin sister, also adopted).
