Marks & Spencer has launched its new "Summer of Love That" campaign, enlisting broadcaster and Chicken Shop Date creator Amelia Dimoldenberg as the General Manager of "Casa del Compliments" — a playful, fashion-focused concept where compliments become the ultimate currency.

Campaign Details

The campaign follows the success of M&S's spring collection and builds on the brand's recent appointment of Gillian Anderson as its Chief Compliments Officer. Dimoldenberg's new role adds a light-hearted and social-first energy to the retailer's summer push, blending style, confidence and feel-good fashion.

Speaking about the campaign, Amelia Dimoldenberg said: "When Gillian Anderson hands you the keys to M&S' Casa del Compliments, you don't take it lightly. Naturally, I've been running a tight ship. Compliments have been distributed in abundance and I'm saying, 'Love That' wherever possible – to people, to clothes and sometimes, just the room itself."

Collection Highlights

At the centre of the collection are standout seasonal pieces designed to capture effortless summer dressing. Key looks include the Linen pipped contrast waistcoat (£40), Linen pipped contrast mini skirt (£30) and Black kitten heel court shoes (£30). The summer range also features accessories such as the black square sunglasses (£10), red baseball cap (£13) and white striped socks (£10 for a pack of three).

M&S said the campaign celebrates the joy of dressing up, receiving compliments and embracing personal style throughout the summer season.

Live Fashion Show

Shoppers will also be able to tune into the first-ever live fashion show from Casa del Compliments on 7 May from 7:30pm. It will be available to watch on YouTube and Instagram. The experience will begin with a red carpet pre-show featuring guest appearances, before moving into live shopping from the Casa Boutique.

The new collection will be available in stores and online from May 7 via M&S.
