The performance took place at Pyaano House in Harrow Weald, where DJ Ag, whose real name is Ashley Gordon, hosts his popular open-format DJ sets that he broadcasts live on social media.
Jay Sean, born Kamaljit Singh Jhooti in 1981, is a London-born singer and songwriter who emerged from the Asian Underground scene. He has scored four UK top 10 singles and a UK top 10 album during his career. At the Harrow set, he performed his new single, Down, along with past hits Make My Love Go, Ride It, and Do You Remember?

Davina Pindoria, who was present at the time, shared footage of Jay's set on Instagram, capturing the surreal moment. Given that Jay Sean has played at huge arenas like Madison Square Gardens and Wembley, seeing him perform in such a humble venue was a stark contrast.

When asked by DJ Ag who he would like to see follow in his footsteps, Jay Sean pondered: "Hmm, you know what, I've done a few songs with him and I don't think he's been with you yet... Sean Paul. That would be sick. He has hits for days."

Earlier this year, DJ Ag visited Croydon's Legacy Youth Zone to see the talent emerging from young rappers and producers who attend the youth club each week. He told the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS): "The talent is amazing, but more importantly I love how respectful they are. A lot of that is missing in society today."
He added: "They seem really eager to learn, and they want to be here. If I lived in Croydon or the surrounding areas, I would be sending my kids here. I don't know what's in the water in Croydon, but it's obviously good."
The Harrow performance underscores DJ Ag's ongoing efforts to bring high-profile music acts to local communities, creating unique experiences for fans across the capital.
