Ari Lennox Headlines Jazz Cafe Festival 2026

The Jazz Cafe, a world-renowned venue in Camden Town, has announced the lineup for its annual Jazz Cafe Festival, set to take place on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Burgess Park, Southwark. Now in its third year, the festival brings the venue's eclectic spirit to a larger outdoor setting, featuring four stages and a diverse mix of emerging and established artists.

Headliner Ari Lennox

Headlining the festival is soul singer Ari Lennox, hailing from Washington DC. She will perform tracks from her latest globally successful LP, Vacancy. This performance marks her only UK date in 2026, making it a must-see for fans.

Strong Female Lineup

The festival boasts a notably female-dominated main stage, bucking industry trends. Greentea Peng, a south London artist who debuted in 2016, brings her unique R&B and soul sound. Jaz Karis, a Brit School graduate influenced by Amy Winehouse, combines fuzzed-out acoustics with a trans-Atlantic twinge.

Electronic and DJ Sets

For electronic music enthusiasts, veteran DJ Nightmares On Wax (George Evelyn from Leeds) will perform on the Four Corners stage. System Olympia, a female DJ and producer, will also take the decks, offering trippy, synth-driven tracks from her label Okay Nature, blending classic piano leads with futuristic jazz backdrops.

Festival Vision

Festival programmer Ruari Frew commented: “The event draws on carefully curated programming and unmistakable spirit, reflecting the venue’s long-standing legacy of nurturing groundbreaking artists and creating unforgettable live experiences. Blending soulful R&B with boundary-pushing hip-hop and electronic music, the festival will transform Burgess Park into a lively showcase – bringing London more unforgettable moments, just as its iconic venue has done for the past 35 years.”
