Peter Andre has revealed that his performance at Venezuela Fury's wedding was a surprise for the bride and groom. The Australian singer was flown to the Isle of Man to serenade the newlyweds with his hit 'Mysterious Girl' during their first dance earlier this month.
In his column for new! magazine, Peter described it as a 'flying visit' as he arrived on the day of the wedding and left shortly after. 'Because we were a surprise, we had to get the sound check done in the venue while they were still at the church,' he wrote. 'Performing on the night was so much fun and it was great to get Tyson and Noah singing along as well.'
The performance was recorded for the Furys' Netflix reality show, 'At Home with the Furys', which is why Peter has held back from sharing videos on social media. 'I'm holding some of the videos back until their Netflix series airs,' he explained. 'The family looked after us so well – Paris and Tyson were lovely. We spent a good half hour just chatting afterwards.'
Peter, who recently joined the cast of 'Mamma Mia! The Party' at London's O2, flew back to London after the wedding. He said it was 'amazing to see Tyson's daughter and new son-in-law so happy.'
Venezuela, 16, married boxer Noah Price in a lavish ceremony. Tyson Fury walked his daughter down the aisle and reportedly gifted the couple £5 million. The wedding dress, with a 50ft train, cost £40,000, and there were 18 bridesmaids, including Venezuela's younger sisters and cousin Bambi Fury.
Despite the opulent wedding, Venezuela and Noah plan to live in a static caravan on a campsite in East Riding of Yorkshire, near Noah's mother. A family source said: 'Venezuela wants to start her married life in the traditional style of a traveller, just like her parents did. She thinks it did her parents no harm and is looking forward to taking care of all the domestics while Noah goes out to work. Her parents approve.'
