Asia

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, a building under construction in Angeles City collapsed during a thunderstorm, with authorities fearing as many as 40 people may be trapped in the rubble. In London, Hull City fans celebrated their team’s promotion to the Premier League after winning a play-off final against Middlesbrough at Wembley Stadium. In Sunderland, young music fans enjoyed a performance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend festival at Herrington Country Park.
